The New York Times has highlighted Food Rescue US and rescuing food as one of the nine ideas to make the world a better place.

Food Rescue US is tech-savvy; it uses an app to connect donors – including grocery stores, restaurants, farms, schools, caterers and other food-related businesses – with nearby food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters.”
