Join Food Rescue US – Boston for the 4th Annual “Friday After” Event: Bridging the Gap Together

On the Friday after Thanksgiving, many of our local food recovery and distribution colleagues take a well-earned break after working hard all year to secure vital food access for our community. Food Rescue US – Boston is excited to support families and partners with our 4th Annual “Friday After” food recovery and distribution event, ensuring we can keep the momentum going once the holiday feast is over.

Last year, our dedicated volunteers helped us rescue 15,000 pounds of surplus food, reaching over 800 families in need. This year, we’re aiming for 20,000 pounds to support even more local families across five Boston locations—and we can’t do it without you!

• Rescue Surplus Food: Help collect and deliver surplus holiday food from grocery stores.
• Make an Impact: Share high-quality resources at a time of year that is stressful and expensive for many of our neighbors.
