Food Rescue US - Northwest CT

Colleen Stradtman is a community-oriented communications professional who has been working with nonprofits for the past several years. A graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Mass., she has lived in Litchfield County for the past nine years where she continues to serve as a passionate volunteer for the arts and other community organizations.  Currently, she is the president of the Friends of Topsmead State Forest in Litchfield, a seasonal volunteer for Main Street Torrington, and volunteer rescuer with Food Rescue US. Colleen resides in Bantam with her son, daughter, and two felines. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, photography, traveling, and writing. She is thrilled to be joining the Food Rescue US team as the new Site Director for NW Connecticut. As Site Director, Colleen manages partnerships with food donors and receiving agencies throughout NW Connecticut, organizes volunteers, and much more.
